The Origin of Our Name

The name Kaleris is inspired by the Latin word celeris, which means swift, fast, or quick.” It reflects our commitment to keep the world’s supply chains moving with speed and precision. Kaleris History: A Legacy of Excellence

Kaleris was established by bringing together PINC Solutions, ShipXpress, and RailCarRx, which are now Kaleris YMS, TMS, and MRO, respectively. Each solution offers specialized expertise for an essential node or mode in the supply chain. Kaleris continued to build on that foundation, adding Navis solutions for terminal operations and shipping line stowage planning, container/chassis repair from Buckeye Mountain, and inbound/outbounds transport from CAMS Prospero. Most recently, Kaleris acquired Locus software, expanding its carrier management offering for shipping lines.  
 
Kaleris strategically invests in software that accelerates productivity and reduces operating costs to solve the world’s most complex supply chain transportation challenges. This is one of the key drivers behind the acquisition of Navis, which was recognized as the global leader in terminal operating systems for over 30 years. As part of our vision for the future of the supply chain, Navis TOS solutions are now powered by Kaleris innovation and connected into our data analytics layer. The Navis powered by Kaleris logo embodies the potential unlocked through supply chain connectivity.

Our Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) optimize every type of operation. We serve container terminals with or without automation, general cargo terminals that handle break bulk, bulk, and RoRo, terminals desiring a lean IT footprint, and inland depots. 

Yards

Our Yard Management System (YMS) increases gate velocity and driver satisfaction, reduces congestion, and improves trailer turn times. A Real Time Location System lets shippers see every asset in each yard and across their yard network to make informed decisions, automate gate check-in/out, and maximize yard space.  

Transportation

Our multi-modal Transportation Management System (TMS) simplifies the operational complexities of road and rail shipping. Our Carrier Management System benchmarks safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly ocean transportation. The comprehensive solution directs end-to-end workflows from quoting and booking through stowage planning and cargo operation monitoring.

Railcars, chassis, and container repair shops

Our Maintenance and Repair System (MRO) empowers shops to run their operations more productively and economically. It streamlines repair & maintenance workflow tracking as well as managing billing, inventory, and labor.
