Plan, execute, and optimize container movements more efficiently

The Operational
Foundation Powering Modern Terminals

Kaleris N4 brings vessel, yard, rail, gate and control-room operations together on a single platform, helping terminals plan and execute work with greater coordination and control.

Whether your terminal is manual, semi-automated or fully automated, N4 is designed to support the way you operate today, and evolve as your operation changes.

Why terminals choose N4

Built around your operation

Configure workflows, processes and operating rules around the way your terminal works rather than forcing your operation into a fixed model.

Ready for every stage of automation

Support manual, semi-automated and fully automated operations with a TOS designed to evolve as your terminal’s automation strategy develops.

Designed for complexity

Workload is scheduled to use equipment, people and yard space at their best, which lifts efficiency across the terminal.

Maximize N4 with Advanced Optimization

N4 provides the operational foundation. Advanced Optimization helps improve the utilization of their equipment, people, and available capacity. Whether you’re a greenfield terminal designing operations for the future or a brownfield terminal looking to maximize the value of existing assets, Advanced Optimization gives you the flexibility to start where it matters, such as RTG, truck, or yard operations, and expand as your needs evolve.

The Optimization Edge

Smart insights for container terminals

Learn from experts as they explain best practices for achieve the next wave of productivity.

RTG-O Runs inside N4 and sequences yard crane work in real time.

Optimizes side-loading operations and fleet deployment, cutting cost per TEU on the same crane fleet.

TT-O Schedules and dispatches terminal trucks against crane schedules and yard priorities.

Removes congestion and unnecessary moves, and matches truck supply to quay demand.

YIS evaluates how each yard decision will affect downstream operations, and

its AI-augmented design handles unpredictability to minimize rehandles and improve container flow.

From automation deployment to sustained performance, N4 helps terminals build for what’s next.

Automation built for the long run

Automation isn’t just about deploying equipment. It’s about building an operational foundation that scales, adapts, and sustains automation over time. With three decades of experience in terminal modernization and automation, Kaleris helps terminals move from automation deployment to long-term operational performance.  N4 connects automated equipment with planning, workflows and execution – supporting terminals across their automation journey, from semi-automated operations to highly automated environments.

Proven at scale

More than 25 terminals already use N4 automation worldwide.

Designed around your Ops

Configurable workflows and integration capabilities support different terminal needs and automation strategies.

One operational foundation

Connect automated and manual operations across the terminal as your automation journey progresses.

DP World Peru & Chile | South America
Peru: DP World Callao uses Kaleris N4 across its main marine terminal and five additional facilities and depots. Callao handles 60% of Peru’s containerized cargo and more than 90% of traffic at the Port of Callao. A common N4 environment supports synchronized container, general cargo, yard and terminal operations.

Chile: DP World San Antonio, Chile’s largest multipurpose container terminal, uses N4 across its marine terminal and associated inland facility, supporting container and general cargo operations with integration to a third-party MRO platform.

Success highlights: Centralized multi-facility management Consistent planning and data visibility Scalable architecture for future expansion Support for manual and automated operations Improved digital reporting and real-time visibility
